With the New Year's sights set on the Sping and the year to come I have enjoyed a renewed vigour towards creating things new - currently my New Website which is being built as we speak! Very exciting! There's something staisfying about starting afresh and making your mark - like walking on that blanket of fresh, crisp snow first thing in the morning. For me it's the chance to renew and redirect. So watch this space... and let me know what you think.

Having been asked by WEETU to take a selection

of photographs at their networking event I arrived with a business head on, not quite knowing what to expect. I'm not much of a cook and my lifestyle rarely allows me to read for pleasure (unfortunately), but from the moment Prue Leith started her talk I was completely swept away with her story telling and down-to-earth nature. A highly entertaining afternoon with a very charismatic lady. I came away feeling inspired and elated. Thanks to Prue Leith and all at WEETU.

Steiner School Summer fayer

A scorching hot day with vivid colour and entertainment at the Steiner school Summer Fayer which I was privileged to have been invited to join. The atmosphere hummed with a wonderful array of entertainment, workshops, stalls, refreshments and music, all exuding the holistic and feel-good nature of the Steiner philosophy. A brilliant family day out and a great success for the school.

There's nothing so sweet as seeing lots of little 7 year old footballers in oversized kit, all randomly running after the ball ! This weekend found me recording a children's football tournament in Old Catton which thankfully just missed the rain! It was a glorious day on Saturday and the ages ranged from 7-14yrs, (so some not so small), and although I wouldn't call myself experienced in the ways of football, the level of skill was impressive. Got some real jems.

You may be forgiven for feeling slightly daunted at the prospect of meeting with EMBD director Graham Franklin, after all he can list blue chip clients such as Barclays Bank PLC, JPMorgan Chase and Eurostar, to name but a few. But mistaken you would be as from the outset you are greeted by a warm smile and a firm handshake and you are immediately put at ease.

An enjoyable photo-shoot later plus a few fun photos of little Heidi (that weren’t on the brief!), and I have to say it was a pleasure doing business. Many thanks to Graham, Diane and Nicola.

6 months and 4 weeks...

As each week passes, significant changes with a new child seem to develop and pass us by to become memories all too quickly. I know from my own: my baby who is so desperate to grow up - who now crawls and stands and gesticulates - is she really only 7 months old? It's great to just stop for a moment and really capture the ever increasing pace of change and get some real gems of that 'here and now'.

I love working with people, especially children. It’s great fun, spontaneous and brilliantly unpredictable.

As we slowly find ourselves nestling into a warm glowing autumn, the celebrations for this Saturday's wedding couldn't have fallen on a better day. A beautifully stylized wedding in exquisite settings came off with a genuine and touchingly sensitive aplomb. Many smiles all round and much merriment later as the day relaxed into a night of stars and lanterns.

My time with Eve (2 yrs) and Max (9 mths) really gave me the chance to get to know them. Add some fun and their favourite teddies, (Dog-dog 1,2 & 3 !), and the results are delightful. Their personalities really shine through in the pictures.
